Rubix Communities: We are building a civilization, not a business.

When new civilisations were first formed, roles followed a natural progression.

There were first some founders — who chose where to pitch the tent, by looking at the world around them and identifying the natural resources, the climate and conditions that will best position their civilisation for success.

Then they brought on board those with shared values and dreams for the new civilisation. These initial contributors were instrumental in establishing culture and the ways in which they could all work together.

Now, if this was a business the next focus would be on building a product that can be sold to neighbouring civilisations for profit (which doesn’t even go to the community but to shareholders). This is why when businesses are formed, often roles such as sales manager, marketing manager are quickly filled (and often re-filled multiple times before the business finds success). This is a difference between building a civilisation and a business.

At Rubix we are building a civilisation. This means that our approach to growth follows a different path to some of the businesses we (as founders) have done in the past.

We lead with establishing the community, through leaders at every level. We give these leaders what they need to be a true representative of the community. We listen to the community and build what they need to engage with each other, contribute value to each other and earn.

We establish community champions who raise up new community members to be champions, helping to grow and develop well-being.

We establish a vibrant education culture, not sales. We have no sales people, but we have teachers.

Between teachers and community champions we help businesses use the infrastructure and tools we create to engage with their customers, or the Rubix community, through attributable campaigns and actions that support their own goals and aspirations.

This is where we start engaging with the neighbouring civilisation — the businesses and developers that are currently using tools from Facebook, Instagram or Google (or many other marketing channels). We teach them how they can join our civilisation for the betterment of their business.

We also allow our community to spend their earnings at the neighbouring civilisation (also known as the real world) with that revenue being returned back to the community.

Rubix will continue to build its infrastructure, so that earning gets more efficient and more gets back to the community. Marketplaces and communications will form. The community will become more autonomous.

With the community controlling its destiny, on every action possible Rubix is giving back. We are building a new earning economy powered by the community’s strength, with infrastructure, tools, educators and community champions all aligned to make world better off, one hyper local community at a time. Like a jigsaw covering the globe.
